A flowing breath-oriented practice that's different each time. The
poses are linked with a sun salutation-like sequence (vinyasa) to
build strength, endurance and mental focus. All levels are welcome
— but come expecting a serious workout.
Classical Hatha ** (wed 5:30 pm & Sat noon ***)
These Iyengar-influenced classes work on correct form in a broad assortment of hatha yoga poses as well as introduce breath work (pranayama) and relaxation techniques. Ideal for beginners or those wanting a moderately paced class.
A dynamic practice involving hatha yoga poses, mantra, mudras and powerful breath work to awaken dormant energies and promote a feeling of exubertant well-being. An all-levels class that will leave you recharged, refreshed and centered.
Vinyasa ***
Mixed level flow-style classes for beginning and continuing students
interested in exploring more deeply to cultivate greater awareness, endurance and strength.
Yin Yoga *
A relaxing, meditative class with long deep holds to release the
muscles and re-lengthen connective tissue. A good companion to more vigorous yoga styles or active sports.
Yoga for Back Care *
A gentle, effective approach to strengthening the back, restructuring the body and coping with stress. Practical techniques for alleviating neck and back pain. Great also if you're looking for a beginning program easier than our classical hatha classes.
Acro Yoga
AcroYoga is a blend of partner yoga, partner counterbalancing, and Thai massage. You don't need to be terrifically bendy, a Dutch Acrobat, or a massage expert. AcroYoga is tailor-made for yogis and yoginis at any level of practice. It transforms our individual hatha yoga into a community experience, cultivating trust and playfulness through mutual support. NO PARTNER NECESSARY! Come with an open heart and a wish to fly!
