Happy Hips

Do you sit in a chair all day long? Run, ride a bicycle or do any vigorous exercise? Tight hips compromise the fluidity of our entire body by putting undue pressure on our joints from our feet to the tops of our spines. When we find release in the hips, we feel more lithe and fluid, not mention it feels great and is fun!

In this workshop we’ll work on safely and effectively opening the hips from all directions and explore how the opening (and closing) of our hips leads to a more grounded, connected and agile stance and a deeper, more refined practice. Happy hips, happy heart!

This workshop costs $25.

About Sarah Trelease

Sarah Trelease has taught vinyasa yoga for more than ten years, most recently as Director of Teacher Training at OM Yoga in New York City, where she facilitated and taught retreats, workshops and teacher trainings. She is certified through OM Yoga, the Nosara Institute in Costa Rica, and Judith Lasater. Sarah offers classes that balance breath, alignment, and flowing movement.
