Equinox Celebration

2Yoga(302of306).jpg

There are two points of the year which occur during the year where the day and night are equal in length. These points are known as the equinox and they transition us into the autumn and spring seasons. The equinox is a potent opportunity to plant the seeds for transformation.  As Nature rests in Her balance, we are given the opportunity to reflect on our own.

The play of light and dark is a theme throughout humanity and spirituality.  As we say farewell to the summer and usher in the autumn, we collectively and individually experience the pulsation of the shift of the seasons. Yoga and Ayurveda offer techniques to transition through the cycles of outer nature with intelligence and grace maintaining balance and integrity within our inner nature.

Join Anne Witmer and Meghan Maris for a 2 hour discussion and practice inspired by the play of yin & yang energies. There  will also be a discussion about finding balance in our bodies and minds as we shift from summer to autumn. To find balance within and without, we must be willing to embrace ourselves and life in totality.  This requires shining our inner light into our shadows.
