There are two points of the year which occur during the year where the day and night are equal in length. These points are known as the equinox and they transition us into the autumn and spring seasons. The equinox is a potent opportunity to plant the seeds for transformation. As Nature rests in Her balance, we are given the opportunity to reflect on our own.
The play of light and dark is a theme throughout humanity and spirituality. As we say farewell to the summer and usher in the autumn, we collectively and individually experience the pulsation of the shift of the seasons. Yoga and Ayurveda offer techniques to transition through the cycles of outer nature with intelligence and grace maintaining balance and integrity within our inner nature.
