The play of light and dark is a theme throughout humanity and spirituality. As we say farewell to the summer and usher in the autumn, we collectively and individually experience the pulsation of the shift of the seasons. Yoga offers techniques to transition through the cycles of outer nature with intelligence and grace maintaining balance and integrity within our inner nature.
This workshop includes a deep Hatha yoga practice (asana, pranayama, and guided relaxation/meditation) and a discussion about finding balance in our bodies and minds as we shift from summer to autumn.
To find balance within and without, we must be willing to embrace ourselves and life in totality. This requires shinning our inner light into our shadows. Come prepared to practice (do not eat 2 hrs prior to the workshop) and bring a pen, paper, and snacks.
