Restorative Yoga for Deep Relaxation

Restorative yoga is an antidote to the stress of our hectic modern lives.  It is a quiet, profoundly nourishing practice of deep relaxation.  In this workshop we will use blankets and bolsters to fully support the body in gentle reclining postures.  We will hold each pose for 10-20 minutes to elicit the full benefits of the relaxation response.  

To rest in such a thorough way soothes the nervous system, encouraging the body and mind to release chronic stress and come back to healing and balance.  This workshop is the perfect opportunity to unwind and to reconnect with the peace and stillness that live in the very heart of your being.
