This work has always been revolutionary

As teachers and practitioners, we have an inherently revolutionary edge and a heart for the collective. We deeply honor our responsibility to respect the lineage and traditions while also bringing this practice to everyday folks.

You are drawn to this work because you’ve been impacted by your personal journey through these modalities. You understand the impact of recognition, resilience, bravery, agency and planting seeds in the mind, body, and spirit. You have a dedicated practice and want to embody and spread this message, either through your teaching, holding space, or welcoming community.

This, in simple terms, is what The Practice Space studio stands for. Teachers and practitioners that represent, embody, and spread that message.

And The Practice Space stands for creating a place where teachers can flourish. Where they can access continued learning to satisfy the student at heart. The respect, appreciation, and promotion of their teachings, classes, and workshops.

Career teachers are at the forefront of social change and preventative care.

And yet, the most disheartening aspect of our current industry is the immense challenge you, as a teacher, face in building a sustainable and thriving career teaching in the wellness space — a career from which you can flourish and support yourself financially.

At the practice space we are doing everything we can to recreate a supportive employee environment. With retirement plans and continued education. Everyday we put effort to refine our business model to put the teachers first.

Good teachers don’t just reproduce work, sharing a memorized system, good teachers consider and synthesize in order to appropriately match the teachings to the student in front of them. This is why they are invaluable assets.

It is our vision to welcome amazing yogis and pilates practitioners to The Practice Space, where they can flourish.

But, if we want that vision to come to fruition, we have to build a workplace that provides our employees the opportunity to focus on being incredible teachers and influencers for preventative health… We need to take care of them financially and otherwise.

This Is what we do to support our teachers at The Practice Space

  • Being employers so we can provide sick leave, vacation leave, workers compensation, and liability protection

  • Provided a match for ROTH IRA retirement savings plan

  • Offer continuing education. We welcome new experts in the field of yoga, Pilates, and business to provide our staff with internal education.

  • Annual First Aid and AED training

  • Free access to all classes and workshops hosted at our space

  • Food and beverages for the staff whenever they need it. Getting hungry between classes and clients makes teaching 10x more challenging. No one likes a hangry yogi.

Teachers are the heart of any studio.

Interested in joining our team?

We are always looking for passionate teachers to join our community. We require new teachers to join our sublist for 6 months to learn about our studio and offerings before being added to our regular schedule. This approach helps us build a brave and resilient relationship with one another. To make an impact, teachers need to love where they work! Because we believe in community even our subs have access to our classes at any time and enjoy a few of our all employee benefits. You aren’t just called to work, you are called in for community.

If you are interested in joining the community, click the position you are interested in and follow the prompts. We will be in touch with you.
