In this workshop we will break down chaturanga dandasana, learn to effectively “do a vinyasa,” and strengthen your understanding of this foundational posture.
In Chinese medicine, Autumn is viewed as the start of the Yin season as it brings the onset of descending metal chi (energy). During this in-depth Yin practice, we will use specific poses to target the meridians and organs governed by metal (lungs and large intestine) and learn how this energy effects the body and mind. We will conclude with a guided meditation to help us release our fears of letting go and open to a deep state of inner peace.
